Hey to all experts

With XP SP2 I habe deactivated the firewall for the network adapter

(IP: 10.1.61.252).

Additional I activated the RAS Service

192.168.99.1 for this computer and 192.168.99.2 for the remote

computer.

After dial in with a modem I got a new network connection and the

remote computer got its 192.168.99.2 IP adress. Fine!

Of course I can access the RAS Computer via \\192.168.99.1\c$ and VNC.

ping 192.168.99.1 is also possible.Fine!

While turning the firewall for the network adapter on, I can not ping

the RAS Computer via 192.168.99.1

Ping 10.1.61.252 on the network is possible because I open the

necessary ports and the ICMP Echo request.

I have not found a way to configure the firewall in the "incoming

connections".

What is wrong?

What can I do?

Any help is gladly appreciated.

Bye

Ramona
